About the Job
A cook at Hwy55 is responsible for making sure what the customer orders comes out correct and in a timely manner.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Strong communication skills are essential as well.
- Hwy55 menu includes burgers, cheesesteaks, chicken, and sides items like fries, tots, onion rings.
- The three stations in the kitchen include fry station, bun station, and grill. Each station has its own responsibilities.
- Grill station is responsible for burgers, cheesesteaks, grill chicken.
- Bun station is known for completing the sandwich that is on the grill with the topping the customers choose.
- Fry station is required to send out side items such as fries, onion rings, and tots.
- Fry station is also responsible for main items such as chicken tenders and shrimp.
- Other responsibilities the kitchen is to uphold is cleanliness and proper temperatures.
